Fedora 10 stuck up after boot and gives just blank screen
 

Hi guys,
I have installed Fedora 10 on my intel dual core, 102ggc2 motherboard with on board ATI Radeon Xpress200 drivers.
The problem is that after installed fedora10 in the case of normal boot the screen just stuck up and gives blank screen after some time and even keyboard or mouse doesn't work.

But when i pass kernel parameters like "noapic" or "nomodeset" then it boots completely and works completely fine.

Guys plz do anyone has any solution for that so that i dunt have to pass kernel parameters each time to start fedora.

I do mention that i had installed latest kernel and also installed livna-config-display to solve the problm bt i couldnt solve it.

Add noapic or nomodeset in your /boot/grub/menu.lst at the end of the line which starts with kernel. Post the updated menu.lst here if you still have issues.

I just want to ask u if i pass kernel parameters like
"noapic" or "nomodeset" does it make any effect to the fedora or by passing parameters will there be any issue for some software will nt work??
