Fedora 10 - Login Screen - GUI not bootup

Hi,
I have installed Fedora 10 and been working fine for more than a year. One day I log in using ssh (remote access) and tried to reboot system. I re-login (remote access) fine after reboot. However, the login and GUI desktop does not show up. I check inittab and boot up at level 5 so it is supposed to start X11 right? Please help how to get back to login screen?

Thanks,
nodopro

Try reconfiguring your x server. When at the system press ctrl-alt-f2 and login as root. Now run 'init 3' to make sure any instance of gdm/kdm/xdm is killed. Now run 'system-configure-display --reconfig' and you should be presented with a configuration tool for your monitor and video card. You should be able to figure it out from there.
