feckin games!

Hi, my son and I are new to linux and have to say am impressed. Just 1 little thing, were both a bit partial to strat games and the like. Unfortunately the arrow keys wont work on online gaming and we cant get any microsoft discs (age of empires) to run even tho we have the wine program installed. Any ideas?

You should check the list of compatible programs on wine homepage. Not all programs are supported under wine so if one exists and that too if one is a game then I wont be too shocked.

Welcome to LQ!

About AOE have a look here.

You can edit your profile and put some info there so that we know what is your distro for example.

I don't know how much you have searched the net, but there are really lot's of games ready to run on Linux without Wine.

Here are a few sites that might interest you; 1,2,3,4.
