Feather Linux serial mouse issues

I have just installed Feather Linux onto my pentium 1. It runs smooth as i am typing this on it at the moment. However after the installation when i boot without the cd my serial mouse does not work. But when i boot up again with the live cd the mouse works. I have no other ports on my computer other than serial. Can i change the setup or somethin to let me use my mouse? Apart from my old compy mouse death.....Feather linux is a great distro!

check the xorg.conf, most distros tend to assume you have usb or ps/2 mouse

how do i check the xorg.conf ?

go to the /etc/X11 directory and more xorg.conf post the results here.

im in /etc/X11 and i cant see xorg.conf.......
