fdisk/partitioning in general question
i have 10 gig hard drive with win98 on it. i want to create a partition without having to destroy all the data i already have on there. id like to not have to buy partition magic. is doing this possible?
i saw an option to 'create partition out of free space' on one of the partition programs the slackware boot cd came with. what does that mean? |
It will try to do it's best in not jacking up your existing partition, and using up any free space in winbloze to make a partition that you can install Linux on.
Now, YES you can resize Win98 with a program called FIPS. Check www.tucows.com for a copy. |
If you have a network connection, make sure you back your data
up first. |
