FC7 cannot edit /etc/fstab in single mode


Hello,

I added one of no use syntax in /etc/fstab for RHCE lab, after reboot
to single mode and then use vi to edit /etc/fstab that display this file
is read-only mode, so I cannot edit it ..... now I cannot go back to
normal.

If the file is not on a disk that needs fscking or otherwise readonly media and the file hasn't got the immutable bit set ('lsattr'), then can't you 'mount / -o remount,rw' then edit it?

After I type "mount -o remount,rw / " it display "According to mtab, /dev/sda2 is already mounted on / "
