FC3 or Debian?

I am pretty much absolute newb level right now, but I want to start having dual OSs (win XP/Linux distro). I am actually writing this message while using FC3, but I am having SO much trouble installing the driver for my Gcard and doing basic things. Would I be better off starting with another distro to learn? Is there a distro that is very GUI heavy (and doesn't always require using the terminal). I also want to run XP games on this system because I heard they'll run better. If anyone can give me a hand, that would be great.

Your questions are subjective. That said..

Suse and Mandrake are probably the most GUI heavy and require the least about of command line. Still, if you want to learn Linux, you shouldn't be afraid of the command line. Other distros to look at: Mepis, Ubuntu, and Fedora (which you're using now).

Best of luck!

Thanks, I think I'll check out Mandrake soon...

If you want something GUI heavy you shouldn't do debian. On the other hand debian makes you learn quite a bit.
