FC2 64 bit and dvd writer
Was running 32bit Fedora 2 and had all my "STUFF" working correctly.
Decided to load the 64 bit version. I have a AMD 64 bit cpu. I have a new sony dvd writer that worked good on the old FC2. Now It won't write CDs. or play DVDs. I can hear the sound on the movie but not video using Xine. Can't even burn an ISO image. K3B says there is no burning device. Is it just the bugs in the 64 bit version? I have all the updates. |
Just so if anyone has the same problem, in the 64bit version you have to signed in as root to burn CDs. How nasty is that???
