I am unable to install linux (Fedora Core 11) in my Desktop .
What are the exact symptoms?

I have searched and found that DG33Fb dont support linux..
I did a quick google search and most pages I found said the opposite (that Linux does work on the DG33Fb). Most pages I noticed that said it doesn't work were over a year old and mostly Fedora Core 7.
Like johnsfine said, what are the symptoms? What happens when you just boot from a LiveCD to try out? The fact that Intel doesn't support Linux OS doesn't necessarily mean it will not run on their products. Just try out some LiveCDs from distros, I'm sure you'll find one that works just fine.
You have tried to live boot a fedora 11 CD? The BIOS of your machine is set to boot from the CD-ROM? You have burned the downloaded fedora file on a good quality CD at a low speed as an ISO image file? What fault messages were returned?

Actually i have tried to install normally... everything goes find ... but bootloader isn't there . I cant even login to my windows...
I have to reinstall Windows Xp and have to clear the linux partition inorder to run my machine...
And I have also googled for it .. But they said it can be but there is too much technical word that i cant understand..
But official Chat from Intel representative has a summary that...
It looks to me like the installation goes just fine up to the moment where the bootloader (Grub, Lilo, ...) needs to do its job. Have you tried with other distros as well? Or only with Fedora?
Try an other LiveCD to see if that works.
If you really want Fedora then you might try installing it again the normal way. When you reboot and are unable to get anything, then we could try to boot from the LiveCD again and manually edit the boot menu list or at least look what went wrong.

So it appears you did not install the bootloader correctly. If your hardware is having issues with fedora you can try other distros. You can choose from the many available from this site, go pay a visit to that site. You may also try an easy to install distro Linux Mint 7 or Slackware.

Never believe any proprietary manthras of that kind: there is no such thing as linux cannot run what microsoft can, so long as the hardware drivers have already been worked out by open programmers like most of current hardware. People saying that are usually the ones paid by microsoft or at least are employed by those who received incentives from it. "Too much technical" are the things proprietary software are hiding from the buyers, yet same things that are the plenitude amongst linux users. I was like you before. Tomorrow you shall be like us. Your decision to migrate into linux is wise. Take the challenge and come here for help as you go along. This linux community has helped me much when I was like you; I am staying here to return this moral favor.
Welcome and good luck.

I dont think so as i have successfully installed in another 3 computer
There are two months between your last post and this one. Are you still facing the same problem? Can you post any error messages you get when trying to install?

I don't think that was enough information when you first wrote it and I don't see anything before or after it that looks like more information.
You haven't told us enough for us to give you useful help.
So much time has passed that fedora 11 has been replaced by fedora 12, which might perform better on your hardware. fedora is known for being composed of the newest but not the best tested packages, good for new hardware but lacking guaranteed performance in every application. It can be buggy. There is a quick guide of the basics.
However, it does sound as if it is the bootloader that is the problem. What about trying a live-cd of fedora 12 as a check for your hardware then trying to install it? If you have the same sort of trouble, try to see if you can configure GRUB with the Super Grub Disk;it can edit GRUB. Notice the way that the boot loader was edited in this LQ query to get the motherboard to boot linux.
Since Google tells me the BIOS may have something to do with it, the last thing to think about is the that. The latest from Intel is 7/15/200 0572. What is yours?
