Where would you go to get help, or have an interesting conversation ?

I like the atmosfeer at irc.linuxfromscratch.org
but as I am using another distro,
there is not much point going there with my possible specific problem

I am using mostly slackware,
but just to keep this open for any distro used

anyone with cool suggestions ?

us.undernet.org
irc.freenode.net -- probably the best

agree freenode is best -- imo #slackware, #debian, and #gentoo are particularly good channels, with lots of participation.
