Fatal Server error: no screen found!!!

ahhh! i use the command nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf to config my monitor but i dont no what the settings should be i have a dell Ultra Scan P780 someone plz help me set it up >.<

What is your distro and what is your video card?

In Fedora Core, if you don't know how to edit xorg.conf, you can run system-config-display from a terminal and Fedora will set up the monitor for you. Many distro's have similar commands.
