A win95 boot disk dosn't have cdrom drivers, thats what makes a win98 boot disk so usefull.

Yep. I remember trying to install a new CDROM drive in the Win95 system and wondering what the hell was going on. I borrowed a W98 boot disk and it went right in, no problem.

Well, I'm putting together a detailed components list to make the installation easier, as prescribed by those who have done it, and I plan to reformat and install Caldera this weekend or sooner.

I hope to be looking at a Linux prompt by Sunday. Wish me good luck and much nerdliness.
