What can I do about this?
Failed to execute child process "realplay" (No such file or directory)

using gdome Ubuntu, realplayer is in my Home folder (RealPlayer11GOLD)

That is the error message you get when you have not specified the path correctly from the icon to the program.

Did you install the .deb file?

What is the command you are running? If you're clicking on a launcher, it will be in the launcher's properties.
