Failed to execute child process"abrowser"(no such file or directory) error

I have had this computer for one year. Loading it with Ubunto was a huge mistake for me.
Please help me fix this error that just appeared. I cannot launch my web brower. I have not changed anything and did do an update last week but it worked fine after that.
Thanks for your assistance.
If you respond please use normal speak not computer speak. I am not computer illiterate but definitly Linux illiterate.LOL

What were you trying to do when this error message appeared?

Open up a terminal, type in 'firefox', and press enter. Does a web browser start?

it means when you updated the launcher for that program is not correct.
