I'm trying to edit my profile in Facebook, I added a lot of info, but when I got to the "activities and interest" I can't save it. every time I click on anything it asks me if I want to leave this page because of unsaved changes! I can't find the save button anywhere on the page! I don't know if it's because I'm using Linux or it's just user error, not knowing what I'm doing.

Didn't try this myself but you could take a look at the facebook help page where you will see:

If pages exist for the activities or interests you add, then your profile will link to them, however you won’t be listed publicly as someone who likes these pages unless you click the "Like" button. If you want to add an interest or activity that doesn’t have an existing page, then you will be prompted to create a new page.

whenever the keyword "facebook" crops up, there's only one adequate advice: Give it a very wide berth. Deny that you ever used it.

The less information you put about yourself on Facebook, the better off you are.

Two years ago, I scrubbed my Facebook page of any information that was not already public on my website. If I didn't use Facebook to publicize my blog, I would have left there long ago. The game is not worth the candle.
