F2120 printing only blank papers
 

Hi,

I am using Mandriva Linux in my PC. And i have HP Printer F2120 . After installing HPLIP and configuring it i got Test page (which is in color) printed ok. But when i tried to print a page from a document, the printer takes the paper in and pushes out but blank white sheet. I even tried Printer Color option to Grey scale. Still the pages are blank.

Pls suggest a solution.

With Mandriva, it is best to set up your repositories first. Then as root issue command: urpmi hplip
This will install hplip and dependencies like "cups" to get things working properly.

There may also be some additional hints here.

Resolved - think the problem was with setting Cartridge,,
 

the problem is resolved .

i went to http://localhost:631/ >> Manage printers>> set the Printer Options >> Printout mode [ normal Greyscale [ Black Cartridge] ]

After this, went to the Document and printed it .It Printed
ok.

Not sure if in there is an option in the Document itself where i can make the same selection as above.ie without using http://localhost:631/ . Pls let me know if any.
