extracting the module file

Hello to all,

I am trying to install a driver for a rocket 100 controller card. I am running a pc with Windows 2000 server and Red Hat 9 dual booting. The system is booting to Red Hat with the card installed I just need to get the driver installed. My instructions say I should extract the module file. I gather that I need to access the Kernel to do this. What interface or editor do I use to do this? How do I do this? the drivers are on a floppy disk.

Commands are:

# mount /dev/fd0

# cd /tmp

# gzip -dc /mnt/floppy/modules.cgz cpio -idumy

Thanks,

Newbie Mike
