extend desktop over more then 2 monitors

Hi guys,

I was wondering if it was possible to extend the desktop over 6 screens arrayed out like this


any help is greatly appreciated

Short answer is "yes".

But you'll have to tweak your xorg.conf a bit to do that.

Someone did it with three nVidia 8800GTX cards on Ubuntu 8.04. Here is the thread:
