export sound.
 
i have two system in mandrake 10.0

using ssh i got the remote sys konsole.

i am running X client realplayer in my linux box.

but display is local but the sound in remote system.

then how to export the sound to my sys so that i can hear the sound in my sys. thanks.

You need to share your /dev/ directory over NFS, on the computer that you want to hear the sounds on. You must use NFS (not SMB/NMB); I think you also need to enable some option to share device files.

Mount this filesystem using the dev option on the remote computer, open the KDE control center and set the sound device to be to the mounted dsp file in the mounted directory.
