Existing Software compatibility

I am using a number of graphic programs including Corel, Adobe,
Freehand and the AutoCAD drafting program. Will these programs continue to run on Mandrake Linux? If some do not, are there patches available to enable them in Linux ?
Thanks for the help.

You would have to get somewhat of an emulator to get most working, like wine, Win4Lin or vmWare.

There are no Adobe ports to Linux yet, I do believe there is a Corel port but it might be outdated, are you looking for Corel Draw or WordPerfect ? What AutoCad program are you using, you can always find alternatives for all these programs.

Thanks for the advice. I am currently using CorelDRAW 7 & 10.
I also use AutoCAD 2000LT.
If there are alternatives to these programs which are compatible to Mandrake Linux I would like to know about them.

Not sure if they are still developing anything for Linux but you can check out http://linux.corel.com/ for any corel related products for Linux.

Autocad I'm unsure of. You can always do a search on www.sourceforge.net or www.freshmeat.net as they have tons of apps and projects you can search for.
