execute a script upon logon
 
Is it possible to execute a script when logging in?

Yes. place the script in your .bash_profile file, IIRC.

Just add it to your .bash_login file in your users home directory..

.bash_login? I'm not sure I've ever even heard of that.... guess I need to study bash better. :)
