exceed v10 'cannot open display' problem
 

hello there,

i've installed exceed v10 on my laptop. However when i run graphical programs it says 'cannot open display'. I use SSH secure shell to display. Any help?

You need an X server to pass the display to. If you are SSHing to a remote machine and running a graphical application then you need to tell the machine where to send the display using the DISPLAY variable.

If you SSHing from linux to linux, you may get the result you want just by using ssh -Y user@host.
