Question Evolution - how to make it preferred app in Firefox

Hi there, everyone!
This is a quick one - trying to make Evolution (love it!) a preferred app for "mail-to" in Firefox; in Preferences - Application - "Use Other" Firefox just opens file manager window - asking to select a program file, I suppose.
Which file should I select to nominate Evolution and where is it?
I'm in Mint XFCE
Thanks!

Can you post the output of the command above?

Of course I'm assuming you've already tried setting the default mail through the system settings(it's been awhile since I used it) I think it's called prefered applications in xfce?

Here it is
$ whereis evolution
evolution: /usr/bin/evolution /usr/lib/evolution /usr/share/evolution /usr/share/man/man1/evolution.1.gz

yes in settings it is already selected, but still Firefox tries to open Thunderbird...

You'll want to select /usr/bin/evolution

Let us know if it works

In Firefox v. 52, Edit-->Preferences-->Applications-->Mailto.

In Firefox v. 58, Edit-->General-->Applications (it's about half-way down the page)-->Mailto.

Worked perfectly! Thanks!
So, I learned that t /usr/bin/ is where "program files" are in Linux - is that right (pardon the lack of tech knowledge...)
