I'm trying to migrate myself from Windows to Linux at work by setting up Ubuntu 6.06 on a virtual pc, then burn it to and iso and install as a dual boot os. I have next to no experience with linux but about 15
The most important thing I need to sort out is an alternative to Outlook, which is heavily relied on in my office. Evolution is the obvious choice with its exchange server integration.
I can get Evolution to find the exchange server relatively easily, but then I get this message:

"The Exchange server is not compatible with Exchange Connector.

The server is running Exchange 5.5. Exchange Connector
supports Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003 only."

I know the server is Exchange 2003 so now I'm stuck. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the evolution-exchange package (with great difficulty, I'm new at this) with no effect.
Can anyone give me any hints to put me back on track?

Hi, actually Novell Evolution not support xchange 2007 (5.5), maybe in a future version. But you can try installing The Brutus Plugin for Evolution. I only found this plugin for Fedora distribution in rpm format.
