Ethernet card driver for Fedora 4.2

Hi,

I have installed Fedora 4.2, by formatting a Windows XP machine. After Fedora installation, the ethernet card is not identified (eth0 is not recognized) & I am not able to configure the IP address. How can I know that I have proper driver for ethernet card?
If proper Ethernet card driver is not installed, where can I find proper ethernet card driver for Fedora 4.2?

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Shaina

There is officially no such thing - however, there is a fedora respin designated "4.2"
http://fedora.isphuset.no/
... is this yours?

post the result of the following:

uname -a

lspci

however - it is very unlikely that we can get anything going. FC4 is very old now, and has no support at all. You should scrap it and install an up to date distro.
