Ethereal and Libcrypto

I am having some trouble installing Ethereal. I have reached dependency hell. It asked for ucd-snmp for ethreal, which asked for As I understand this comes with openssl. So I downloaded and installed openssl, but it is still asking for Please help. Thanks.

Did you update your shared libraries with the ldconfig command?
