Suggestion: it it's all good in Knoppix, net and all,
why not just boot the box into Knoppix and find out
details from there? E.g., lsmod, getting the name of
the network card driver module ....

That way you can even copy and paste...

I dont know what you mean by bounce. I'm sorry if I'm doing that. Maybe I will boot into knoppix so I can copy and paste. On my next post I will copy and paste my spci.

ok....my knoppix is not working because of a mouse problem but that;s not any of my concern at the time...is there anything you can do without my ispci

Did you ever figure out the model number of the motherboard?

What is the output of:

I had to copy that, and the lspci word for word...I really hope this helps

You need to install the Nvidia unified drivers. BTW does the audio work?

i think it does. when i installed it the sound test worked so i'm guessing it does

i put the rpm on A: then put the floppy in. Then installed it. Then i opened mozilla. then typed in google.com. it could not find the site. so i clicked the rpm again and it said RPM installed...what do I have to do now?

i'm sorry. i forgot to reboot....it's asking me for dynamic IP configuration. I need to put in IP address
netmask
defualt gateway
primary nameserver
