eth0:bak

Dear All,

I am using Fedora 6 linux. I hav 4 Lan ports in my PC. Sometimes, IP address will be inactive and ven i check it would shown
i.e with ifconfig it would display as

eth0: bla...bla HW adress IPadrr...etc

eth0:bak.. with same IP adress and makes the aforementioned IP in active

sometime as

eth0:1 or etho: vibro..

I have tried with Fedora 9 also. Result is same

Wht is the reason for dis and how do i resolve it?

Cheers all,
Manjunath
