Lightbulb ESXI Install failed! Please help

I just purchaser parts from Micro Center for strong desktop. asus mother board, Intel I7 3550. Two hard drives. Intel solid state and SeaGate 2 T. I installed Windows 7 on Solid state.
I want to partition Seagate drive in two and install ESXI 5.0 on it. When i boot into my flash drive that has ESXI Iso, non of my drives are being recognized. Therefor i can't install ESXI. I tried formatting Seagate, i divided into two partitions one ntfs, one unalocated space. It just does not recognize the drive no matter what.
However the ISO file is located on a USB stick that is 60 gigs. Today ESXI recognized the space and i was able to install ESXI on my flash drive. Which of course if the worst solution but i wanted to test things out.
Any suggestion what i can do here? I went out and bought a brand new Seagate and tried seing if ESXI would recognized fresh new drive. No result.
Any ideas?

Is the drive set for AHCI in BIOS? Obviously windows and the motherboard see the drive since you have partitioned and formatted it. The problem therefore likely lies with ESXI. I suggest asking VMWare since ESXI is their product.
