errors running make

I am getting a number of error when I run the make utility. I am trying to install the rdesktop client. It needed openssl installed first. I did that but I'm not sure if it installed as it should as I am new to Linux and don't know what "error" are legit messages and which ones are not. Anyway, when I do the ./configure for the rdesktop install, it runs with a number of warnings. When I run the make utility, it simply gives errors. It looks like the errors are undeclared variables.

Thanks for any help,
Marty

What distro are you using? and what are the errors displayed from ./configure?

what does make give you?

jstephens84 09-20-2006 03:43 PM

You might also try using apt-get to install rdesktop.

I'm having some difficulty piping the errors to a log file when I run the make file...

I was able to get the rdestkop installed via the apt-get. Thanks a million for the help...
