Are you trying to install from network ? post the exact command you used to install ?

compgenius999 09-19-2009 08:06 AM

I didn't use any command, I have fedora running with no internet access off of the cd, and I'm double clicking the RPM which I downloaded on this windows machine and transfered via a flash drive

j_jerry 09-19-2009 10:37 AM

the error seems due to the lack of internet. please give the name of the package you're trying to install

use rpm -i packagename.rpm to install rpm and post whatever you gets

Does not matter, no longer using fedora.
