[SOLVED] Error while running Yum?

Hi All,
I am trying to run yum but I am getting following error.How I get rid of the error.

Quote:

yum install gdb -y

Hello,

The error is clear:

Existing lock /var/run/yum.pid: another copy is running as pid 1482.

There's another process running which prohibits you from running yum. Terminate the other process and try again.
