Error using up2date in a new server

Hi. I'm installing a new server RedHat Enterprise version 4 update 6.....during the process I have to do a up2date when I run it this is the error I'm recieving:

error: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: MD5 digest: BAD Expected(921121f544efea36f7b183117bd13682) != (70aff544bc5582e50674fc3ca6839f07)

and the up2date process stay on that point and go through....

Thanks,

These are bad md5sums being provided for the packages. Is this occuring on any other system you may have that can run up2date from?

Also do you have anything in /var/spool/up2date ? If so, try wiping the contents of that directory out and run up2date again.
