Arrow Error using "make" command

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anybody could please give me a indication on why I am receving this error?

Code:
marios@svr-ubuntu:/home/test/noip-2.1.9-1$ sudo make install
gcc -Wall -g -Dlinux -DPREFIX=\"/usr/local\" noip2.c -o noip2
make: gcc: Command not found
make: *** [noip2] Error 127
I am trying to install the latest noip client on Ubuntu Server 14. I was able to install the application using make on Ubuntu Desktop.

Your assistance will be grateful

Thank you
Marios

That's probably the problem. Run:
Code:
sudo apt-get install build-essential
Then try again.

If it's solved, mark it as Solved using the Thread Tools dropdown menu at the top of the page.
