Question error: rpmdbNextIterator: skipping h# 1247 Header V3 DSA signature: BAD, key ID 4f


can any one please tell me what this error message refer to

I got this error message when i tried to run

 rpm -qa|grep "something"

If you read http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...core-2-229387/ and then http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...core-1-173874/ you could start by removing the offending package. If 'rpm -qa' then lists all packages OK you know it's a back package. If it still doesn't you might have another bad package or try rebuilding the RPMDB (make backup first) which may or may not work depending on your distro and release or RPM version.
