Error partitioning - Fedora 7 installion

Ok, i have a COMPAQ presario C500 laptop and i wish to install fedora 7 onto it along side windows vista. I have used GParted to allocate enough space for it.

I have allocated about 22gb for windows vista (primary).
I have allocated about 22gb for fedora 7 (unallocated)
I have allocated about 18gb for documents and stuff (pri fat32)
There is about 5 gb system recover partition (Primary).

When i selected fedora installer to use free space it says "Error Partitioning - Partitioning failed, unsatisfied parition request".

What can I do???

When you say "unallocated" for Fedora 7, do you mean that you left that 22GB un-partitioned?

Somehow, you will need to wind up with an extended partition so that you can add a Linux partition + swap space. If you run the Fedora 7 installer, and select manual partitioning, does it see the empty space? If so, you should be able to add the 2 new partitions.

Alternatively, you can use GParted to create the Linux + SWAP partitions.
