error occured during the booting process from the linux.
 
confg. of my pc is
matherboard:945(intel)
processer:intel(r)pentium(r) d cpu 2.80GHz 2.80GHz
ram:512

i have windows installed on my pc
i know how to install linux
i succesfully installed the slackware fedora etc on my another pc
but on my this pc
even if i am done with the linux installation process ,some error occured
during the booting process from the linux.

for example i installed slackware on my pc
but when i boot from linux(slackware),following error massage occured after
autorun is done.

autorun done
udf-fs:no partition found(1)
(1,1):oc fs2_fill_supper:561 ERROR:superblock failed
VFS:can not open root device "800" or unkown_block(8,0)
please append a correct "root=" boot option
kernel panic -not syncing:VFS :unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

please anybody tell me how to overcome from this error

Please clarify what you're talking about...your question is very hard to read and follow.

You mention "Slackware, fedora, etc..."....exactly what version/distro of linux are you running?? Which did you install? Which one is giving you an error? Are you trying to dual-boot the PC? If so, there are different instructions to follow for correcting a MBR problem for either Windows XP or Vista...but you don't say which of those you're using either.
