Error Message updating S 10.1 (New install)
 

Hi Guys
I have newly installed Suse 10.1 and am trying to update the system update states that I have 150 Updates available but when I try to update The following message is displayed:-

Dependency Resolution Failed

Establishing script:libzypp-patch-zmdrestart.sh-2-1533-1.noarch[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates]
This would invalidate script:libzypp-patch.

Can anyone help me please

I had similar issues with a recent 10.1 install - the updating system that ships with 10.1 is very buggy and lots of people have complained about it. Quite a few of the updates are updates to the updater! My advice for the problem you are having would be to not install all 150 at once. Try do the updates in groups of 30 or so. This will either result in all the updates going through (which happened in my case) or you will eventually be left with the one problem update which is causing the problem and then hopefully you can get more specific help on this one.
