error in qt installation for konqueror
i want to install konqueror in my own folder,so first i compiled qt 3.3.8

You need to compile kdelibs 3.5.8 first, as kdebase depends on it.
Concerning the qt dependency, you seem to already have one version installed on your system and the found version seems to satisfy the configure script : Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0). So why do you want another one? And you didn't say what Linux distribution you are using and why you want to compile kde yourselves. Don't you have a package manager to install binary packages ? To force to use your qt version, check if you have this file : /home/qt/lib/pkgconfig/qt-mt.pc If you have it, try : Code:
