error in man-db-2.4.3 make

dear sir i have prob in installing package man-db-2.4.3 chapter 6.
i have prob in make as,
make[1]:***[man.o] error1

make[1]:leaving directory /sources/man-db-2.4.3/src

make:***[src] error 2

please help on this .what should we do for installing man-db successfully.

The first thing you need to do is provide enough information. You have posted nothing useful. A good rule of thumb is the last 20-30 lines of the failed make. You did read section 1.5 of the book, didn't you?
