HI SIR , when i try to run snort in IDS mode it will show "ERROR: Failed to initialize dynamic preprocessor: SF_FTPTELNET version 1.2.12 (-1)
Fatal Error, Quitting.." . i have installed snort-2.9.1 version. please help me to clear this problem

This means that either the SF_FTPTELNET preprocessor can not be found, or it was compiled wrong. Have you checked to make sure that it is there, and your configuration is configured properly to use this preprocessor?

Thank you for reply.The snort configuration is correct ,because it runs well in snort -v mode , but when i try to run in ids mode it shows this error.and how to check SF_FTPTELNET PREPROCESSOS............ please help me to slove this problem
