I'm running Fedora 11:
kernel Linux 2.6.30.9-96.fc11.i586
Gnome: 2.26.3

...trying to install orkaudio using the instructions here:
http://oreka.sourceforge.net/download/redhat
when I get to rpm -i ACE-5.4.8-1.i386.rpm I get:
error: Failed dependencies:
libcrypto.so.4 is needed by ACE-5.4.8-1.i386
libssl.so.4 is needed by ACE-5.4.8-1.i386
I've read several posts on this forum and other forums about it and tried the steps in them but nothing works for me. I've done a search on google too for the above files but I get dead links. I've also tried system/administration/add/remove software but no joy.
I'm stuck here so thanks for any help.

A quick google on these librairies tell me they are part of OpenSSL, just install OpenSSL and try re-installing your software after.

thanks but I did that:
# yum install openssl
I get:
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
Setting up Install Process
Package openssl-0.9.8k-5.fc11.i686 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do

I'm still getting the same Failed dependencies:

ACE-5.4.8-1.i386.rpm is for another Linux.
Has same age as the Fedora 3 and 4 packages.
