and i got another problem while installing onion browser on my linux from its official site.It was a .tar.gz file.Tn tutorial when file was downloaded, then it was installed by archive manager with no problem when he clicked on file. But on my linux it sayes there is no any installing software to install this kinda file on you device.I searched online and it said no apps were found that could install this kind of file. i also tried xvgz code.it didnt worked. Can anybody help me please.

Oh well. So you are running Kali, the distro what is specialized for penetration testing. It is run as root because of this special purpose. And you want to install Onion browser.

Good luck. People on these forums are tired of l33t Kali users.
