Question Error:Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: core

Good Morning:

Thanks for the suggestion on resolving my /lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5/build broken link error.

I received a response:

On: Yesterday 11:19 AM

Install the kernel devel rpm package(s);
yum install kernel-devel

I executed the command "yum install kernel-devel" with the following messages displayed:

Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
core
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo:
Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: core

Was I supposed to give additional options to the command
"yum install kerenel-devel" ??
I assume I am to execute as root.

Help !!

\Steve

in /etc/yum.repos.d/
there will be a file named fedora-core.repo
open the file & remove # before the baseurl line
that will work
do same for other repos
