Unhappy Error 21 grub HELP!?

I have just installed OpenSuse10,2 on my computer.
I already had XP installed on my C: disc (sda2) before. And now i canīt boot any of them.

Just getting the message:

Error 21 Grub

I have linux installed on another disc E: (hdc3) and swap on (hdc2) on same disc.

How do I fix this so I can boot either Linux or XP with dualboot?

Please help me...

Well, this probably will not make you happier..

21 : "Unknown boot failure"

This error is returned if the boot attempt did not succeed for reasons which are unknown.

If I were you I'd try to install some other Linux distro on the same disks as you did suse and cross my fingers, and hope it was a suse specific problem or something.

Maybe someone more knowlegeable will have another opinion?

Well, you could try to install GRUB manually to get the chance to see what's going wrong. You need to boot up from some Linux CD, chroot and use a shell to accomplish this. If this seems terribly complicated to you try GAG boot loader.
