error 127

Greetings,

I am trying to compile a x mame emulator and i've gone through the Makefile several times un commenting and commenting this and that to config the file to my system as best i can. I get something to the effect of this:

compiling bla bla bla

make: gcc: Command not found

make: gcc: [some file and it's directory] Error 127

everyting seemes to be an error 127. Perhaps you can help, and if you can thank you in advance. Feel free to ask any questions.

thank you,

You need to have 'GCC' installed to use it. I found some binaries http://sunsite.lanet.lv/ftp/unix/aix...RISC/4.2/exec/ but I dont know if it come with the GNU C lib...( ive never installed GCC, I know if it comes with the GNU C librarys, or anything else it might need)

Well, anyway, a place to start!
