Erasing temp internet files

Hi there

Can anyone tell me how to erase temp internet files like you can on windows. I am running red hat 9 and want to view an updated applet on the web but because the old one is on my computer I cant view the new version.

Somewhere in your web browser settings there is a way to clear the cache. In Mozilla it is Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Cache -> Clear Cache.

also, right there in "Edit | Preferences | Advanced | Cache", you can select the option to make mozilla compare the page in cache to the page on the network everytime you view the page, so you won't have to clear the cache every time you need freshness...

depending on your browser delete the cache in your home dir
eg. for mozilla
~/.mozilla/default/somestuff/cache
