Epson Stylus SX600FW

I have tried to install a printer driver for my Epson stylus sx600fw all in one printer for my Acer aspire one net book. The version of Linux is Linpus Linux lite v1.0.7. E.
Under the printing preferences there doesn't seem to be a way to update the provided database with new printer models? If i search the internet for a Linux printer driver for this printer. where do i save it on the net book and how do i then install it please?

You may need to get a ppd file.

Here's the listing at Linux Printing.

Linux printer driver

Thank you for your help. I am sorry about the delay in replying but I have had problems with my desktop, laptop and printer (Printing blanks)
All has now been sorted except that i now need a driver for a different printer. (Kodak ESP7. I have looked at the listing that you gave me in your reply but the recommended driver (c2esp) was not found in the database. I don't knwo where to go from here?

It's entirely possible that a driver specifically for that printer doesn't exist. Sometimes one for other printers in the same line works.

Try this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/cups...kodak/reviews/
