Unhappy epson printer seems to be installed, but is unresponsive.

I would like to put it in the driveway and run over it several times, but there must be a Better Way.
at this point, it is wearing a cheerful little green check mark.
I can click that, and go to another page, where it offers the option of printing a test page. so far... there are 21 of them, lined up somewhere invisible to me. I can go and see how many print jobs there are, and there are none. because I have deleted them. however, my printer has fixated on them, and will not let them go.
I have to stop now and do something else, because I am beginning to dislike Linux entirely- and that cannot be, because it is such a great system. except for this. I hope someone wise will read this.

We would love to help, but without details we can't.

All we know is there is a little green check mark (somewhere), on a Linux system (unknown version/distro), with an Epson printer (of some type, connected in some unknown way). Unless you tell us what you're doing to see/delete jobs, how you installed this, etc. there is little we can tell you.

Welcome to LinuxQuestions

Looks like Ubuntu but as stated it would be nice to know what distribution / version you are running and the model number of your printer. The green check mark confirms this is the default printer. I assume the 21 is the number of attempted print jobs from the log. Typically the actual print data is not saved by default and cups only keeps the last 500 jobs in the log file.

You might have to restart the printer queue since there could be an error but probably will not make a difference. Addition information as to how you setup the printer could be beneficial too.

wrong driver??

what os?
what model printer?
network or usb connected?
how did you install driver?
what driver did you use?
is cups disabled on the printer? have you checked? do you know how?

Please answer questions and we can answer with answers and not more questions.
