Enter Password for Default Keyring to Unlock
 

Hi,
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and I would like to know a way to know what applications are asking you to enter password for default keyring to unlock.
In the past that dialog used to appear at startup once but now appears twice and I would like to know which applications are asking me for the password. Is there any log where I can see it?

It sounds like the machine is asking for a password to mount an encrypted disk partition or an encrypted container file.

It could be that the machine itself has a user password but that probably wouldn't mention a keyring.

However I would like to know too if there is a way to know what specific application is asking me for the password in order to make sure it's an application whom I trust in.
Any ideas?

Not sure if this is related, but when I set Ubuntu 10.04 to log on automatically without a password, Evolution mail required my password because "the default keyring was not unlocked at system startup". That's the only time I've seen anything about a keyring.

Ideed I've unistalled Evolutiona Mail (I did'n use it) and now I only get a single pop-up at startup.
However I would like to know if possible a generic way to know what process is asking me for the password since I think it's necessary to know whom (to what application) are you giving sensible info like the password to unlock the keyboard in your computer.
Anyone knows a way to do this?
Any help will be apreciated.
